Welcome to t2d - a directory of activity suppliers and useful contacts to help you organise your programme.

Remember, only authorised adults who have been checked through the Scout Association CRB process are allowed unsupervised access to our young people - it is the responsibility of the Leader in charge of any event to ensure the necessary checks are made and procedures followed. If you are in any doubt, you can find useful factsheets at www.scoutbase.org.uk or you can contact your Group Scout Leader or the Scout Information Centre on 0845 300 1818.

If you have something to add to this directory, please contact us.

Moors Valley Railway

"Construction of a railway in the new Moors Valley Country Park began on 1st November 1985 following the closure of its predecessor which had operated at the Tucktonia leisure complex at nearby Christchurch since 1980. The site at Tucktonia was far from ideal, being very run down, limited in size and did not fit in with the style of railway as originally conceived. The Moors Valley Railway opened to the public at the end of July 1986, using much of the equipment—locomotives, rolling stock, some trackwork and workshop machinery moved from Tucktonia during the previous September and October."
