Perch Pool is a small campsite suitable for Scout, Explorer or Network camps and water activities.
The site is near Tuckton Bridge in Bournemouth and has access to the river Stour, making it ideal for raft building, kayaking or sailing.
The site offers a basic camping area which is available during the spring/summer period (the site can flood during the winter months) and has a small indoor hut which includes a meeting room, kitchen, toilets and showers.
The campsite is not suitable for Beaver/Cub Sleepovers or Pack Holidays - please visit the Butchers Coppice website if you are looking for this type of residential experience.
For further information about local activities and places of interest please see the activities page at the Butchers Coppice website.

Whilst no water activities kit is available at Perch Pool, some kayaking equipment is held at Iford Boathouse, our second water activities base - if you have your own water activities instructors and are looking to use Iford Boathouse or the equipment held there you can check availability here. We recommend that you check that the equipment is suitable for your group before confirming your event. We have access to a small number of instructors and may be able to arrange water activities for you - contact us for more information.
The campsite address is Perch Pool Scout Campsite, Stour Road, Bournemouth, BH23 1JP.
Perch Pool, Butchers Coppice and Iford Boathouse are owned and operated by Bournemouth Scouts.
